My Grandad still has this LP as well as one or two others.I think the voice is Robert Dougall (old newsreader) and I think there were some tracks on it to test if your speakers were out of phase etc..Where the hell did you find this!
A mate pulled it out of a dusty stack of LPs in his living room....just transferred with a bit of Noise Reduction, and there it is :)
